Chennai Gold Prices Jump by ₹70 as 22K & 18K Rates Rise

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, gold prices in Chennai saw an upward movement. According to the latest bullion rates released by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA), both 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices increased by ₹70 per gram.

The price of 22-carat gold has risen to ₹13,300 per gram, compared to ₹13,230 on the previous trading day. Similarly, the price of 18-carat gold has increased to ₹11,115 per gram, up from ₹11,045.

Silver prices remained steady at ₹240 per gram, with no change from Friday's closing rate.
