Chennai Gold Prices Plummet by Rs 200 Per Sovereign on September 29

Chennai's gold price plummeted by Rs 200 per sovereign on Tuesday (September 29), just one day after falling by a significant Rs 2,680. The current rate stands at Rs 1,09,120 per sovereign and Rs 13,640 per gram.

The price drop comes as the city's gold prices continue to fluctuate. Last evening, it was priced at Rs 1,09,320 per sovereign and Rs 13,665 per gram after dropping by Rs 1,880/sovereign in the morning session and Rs 800/sovereign in the evening.

Silver prices also decreased, selling at Rs 240 per gram (Rs 2,40,000 per kg) on September 29. This marks a decrease of Rs 5 from its previous price.
