Chicago Board of Trade Sees Changes in Corn, Soybean, Wheat Futures
The Chicago Board of Trade closed its markets for Monday, August 10. Corn futures saw September drop by half to $4.38 per bushel while December remained steady at $4.62.
Soybean futures rose with September up three dollars to $11.62 and November increasing four dollars to $11.80.
Wheat futures also fluctuated, with September down a quarter to $6.39 in December but up a quarter to $6.58.
Live cattle futures saw October rise by 142 cents to $226.70 while December went up 167 cents to $225.82. Feeder cattle futures dropped 85 cents to $344.37 for September, but rose 80 cents to $335.72 in October.
