Chicago Commodities Market Sees Mixed Results on September 16
The Chicago Board of Trade reported changes in prices for various commodities on September 16, 2026. Corn futures saw a decrease, with December's price down 1 at $5.34 per bushel and March's price down 2 at $5.48 per bushel.
Soybean futures experienced an increase, with November's price up 2 at $13.21 per bushel and January's price up 3 at $13.38 per bushel.
Wheat futures rose, with December's price up 4 at $7.32 per bushel and March's price up 4 at $7.48 per bushel.
The live cattle market saw a decline, with October's price down $2.05 at $218.65 per hundredweight and December's price down $3.02 at $220.32 per hundredweight.
Feeder cattle futures also decreased, with October's price down $3.90 at $329.95 per hundredweight and November's price down $5.50 at $323.35 per hundredweight.
The Andersons at Kent Bridge reported the following crop prices: 2026 Corn down 1 at $6.79/BU, 2027 Crop Corn down 2 at $6.49/BU, 2026 Soybeans up 1 at $17.41/BU, and 2027 Crop Soybeans up 2 at $16.42/BU.
Underwood Grain reported similar crop prices: 2026 Crop Corn down 1 at $6.79/BU, 2027 Crop Corn down 2 at $6.44/BU, 2026 Crop Soybeans up 1 at $17.25/BU, and 2027 Crop Soybeans up 2 at $16.27/BU.
Ontario Pork reported the US CME price at $86.04 per hundredweight, down $0.85 from the previous day. The 100% formula price was also down at $218.72 per hundred kilograms.
