Chicago Commodity Markets Plunge Amid September 2 Trading

The Chicago Board of Trade saw significant fluctuations in commodity prices on September 2, 2026. Corn Futures for December dropped by 1 cent to $5.45 and March down a half at $5.59. In contrast, Soybean Futures for November declined by 6 cents to $13.11 and January was also down 6 cents at $13.26.

The Wheat Futures market experienced losses as well, with December falling by 7 cents to $7.75 and March decreasing by 5 cents to $7.92. The prices of Live Cattle Futures took a hit, with October dropping by 172 cents to $210.35 and December down 127 cents at $212.10.

Feeder Cattle Futures also experienced losses, with September declining by 92 cents to $319.42 and October down 40 cents at $315.00.
