Chicago Futures Slide as Corn, Soybeans, Wheat Prices Plummet

The Chicago Board of Trade reported the closing prices for Thursday, September 17, 2026. Corn futures saw decreases across the board, with December down 3 at $5.31 and March down 4 at $5.44 per bushel.

Soybean futures also declined, with November down 1 at $13.19 and January down 1 at $13.36 per bushel.

Wheat futures suffered significant losses, with December down 5 at $7.25 and March down 4 at $7.42 per bushel.

The live cattle market saw substantial decreases, with October down 282 at $215.62 and December down 400 at $216.20 per hundredweight.
