Chicago Futures Slide: Wheat, Corn, Soybeans Fall on Friday
Wheat prices continued their downward trend on Friday, September 18, as futures contracts for December and SRW wheat closed lower in Chicago.
The price of December wheat fell by 1.75% to $262.44 per ton, while corn declined by 0.57% to $207.68 per ton.
November soybean futures also decreased by 1.23% to $478.95 per ton.
The US wheat export sales for the 2026/27 season stood at 9.178 million tons, down 30% from last year and representing 44% of the USDA's projected export volume.
