US soybean export inspections surged in the week ending September 10 as China resumed its position as the largest destination for US soybeans. According to data from the RFD News, US soybean export inspections reached about 24.7 million bushels, up significantly from 17.1 million the previous week but still below last year's total of 30.2 million. China accounted for roughly half of this total at around 12.1 million bushels.

The uptick in soybean exports to China contributed to a modest increase in US wheat shipments, with inspections totaling about 16.8 million bushels from 15.8 million the previous week. However, these numbers remain well below last year's total of 27.9 million. Pacific ports handled most wheat volume.

On the other hand, corn inspections eased slightly to about 60.1 million bushels, down from 65.9 million the previous week and nearly even with last year's total.
