Farmers and crop producers in Chippewa County, Wisconsin are invited to participate in Corn Silage Dry Down Day on September 2, 2026. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at A&J Agronomy, located at N503 Freedom Street in Fall Creek.

Attendees are encouraged to bring four corn stalks ready for chopping, which will be tested for moisture and dry matter. Results will be available the same day, providing valuable information on ideal harvest timing.

This educational event is offered by Extension Chippewa County in partnership with A&J Agronomy. It aims to help producers achieve quality forage, maximize feed value, and make informed harvest decisions.
