Compressed natural gas (CNG) prices in several cities of Uttar Pradesh have risen due to a recent revision by the gas distributor. The increase comes amid higher input gas costs, rising spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices, and currency exchange fluctuations.

In Lucknow, the CNG price was raised by ₹2 per kg, effective October 3, 2026. The new retail rate stands at ₹107 per kg, up from ₹105 per kg. Neighboring Unnao saw a similar increase, with prices climbing from ₹101.75 to ₹103.75 per kg.
