Commodities Plummet Across the Board on September 28
Closing markets for Monday, September 28 saw significant declines in various commodities, according to data from Windsor News Today.
The U.S. Corn Futures contract for December dipped by 6 cents to $5.22 per bushel, while the March contract fell by 6 cents to $5.35 per bushel.
Soybean Futures also took a hit, with November down by 31 cents at $12.87 per bushel and January down by 30 cents at $13.02 per bushel.
In the livestock market, Live Cattle Futures for October dropped by 105 cents to $217.82 per hundredweight, while December fell by 117 cents to $220.97 per hundredweight.
The Andersons and Snobelen Farms reported similar declines in their respective crop prices for corn, soybeans, and wheat for both the 2026 and 2027 crops.
