Commodity Futures and Crop Prices Plummet on Closing Markets

Closing markets for Friday, September 4 showed significant declines in various commodity futures and crop prices.

The Chicago Board of Trade reported that Corn Futures were down, with December falling by 4 cents to $5.36 and March decreasing by 4 cents to $5.52.

Soybean Futures also experienced losses, with November dropping by 6 cents to $13.10 and January declining by 6 cents to $13.25.

Wheat Futures saw substantial declines, with December plummeting by 21 cents to $7.32 and March falling by 22 cents to $7.48.

The Live Cattle Futures market was down, with October decreasing by $115 to $213.15 and December dropping by $120 to $214.92.

Feeder Cattle Futures also declined, with September losing $65 to $325.20 and October falling by $35 to $320.75.
