Commodity markets saw mixed movements on Monday, October 5, 2026, according to closing reports from CK News Today. Corn futures experienced slight shifts, with December contracts dipping a quarter to 4.97, while March contracts rose a quarter to 5.11. Soybean futures, on the other hand, showed gains, with November contracts up 2 at 12.81 and January contracts up 3 at 12.98.
Wheat futures also saw increases, with December Soft White Winter Wheat up 7 at 8.18 and March contracts up 3 at 8.60. Soft Red Winter Wheat followed a similar trend, with December contracts up 9 at 8.18 and March contracts up 8 at 8.57.
