ConocoPhillips Locks in 20-Year LNG Deal with Venture Global
ConocoPhillips has signed a long-term supply deal with Venture Global, adding to its expanding portfolio of liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the US Gulf Coast. The agreement extends ConocoPhillips' recent run of contracts for export capacity exceeding 20 years.
The deal is part of ConocoPhillips' growing bet on LNG production and export capabilities in the region. Venture Global will supply ConocoPhillips with a significant amount of gas, equivalent to about 1 million tonnes per year (Mt/y), under the terms of their agreement.
ConocoPhillips has been actively expanding its presence in the US LNG market through various partnerships and agreements. This new deal solidifies its position as a key player in the region's growing LNG industry.
