Venture Global and ConocoPhillips have announced a new long-term agreement for liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales. The deal involves ConocoPhillips buying 1.0 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG from Venture Global for 20 years, starting in 2030.

The agreement reflects market confidence in Venture Global's ability to deliver reliable and low-cost U.S. LNG, according to CEO Mike Sabel.

ConocoPhillips will be purchasing the LNG from Venture Global's projects located along the Gulf of America, including Calcasieu Pass, Plaquemines LNG, and CP2 LNG.
