ConocoPhillips Secures Long-Term LNG Deal with Venture Global
ConocoPhillips has signed a long-term agreement with Venture Global to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The deal is for 20 years, starting in 2030, and will see ConocoPhillips buy 1 million tonnes of LNG per year.
This new agreement comes as the company looks to expand its LNG portfolio, amidst challenges affecting QatarEnergy's operations due to the Iran conflict.
ConocoPhillips holds a significant stake in QatarEnergy's Ras Laffan LNG project and other expansion projects in Qatar.
