Copper Prices Edge Higher Despite Dollar Strength
Copper prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose by 0.1% to $14,421 per ton on Tuesday after falling more than 1% in the previous session.
The market remains under pressure from a stronger US dollar, higher oil prices, and concerns over weak demand in China.
Copper inventories in LME warehouses decreased by 875 tons to 251,300 tons, while stocks at the US COMEX exchange rose for a sixth consecutive session, exceeding 700,000 tons for the first time on record.
