Copper Prices Hold Firm as Global Cues Drive Thursday Outlook
Copper prices closed at Rs 1,406.00 per kg on Wednesday, up 0.29 percent. The Nifty 50 fell 0.42 percent to 22,620.45.
Univest's research desk believes the metal will continue its firm tone into Thursday's session. Analysts are tracking global cues closely as commodity prices on MCX often move in step with international benchmarks and the US Dollar Index.
The copper price on MCX is currently trading at Rs 1,406.00 per kg on the 30 October 2026 futures. A sustained move in crude oil prices and the US Dollar Index will be the main swing factor for Thursday's session.
