Copper Prices Rise on Higher Demand and Bets
Copper futures rose on Monday due to higher spot demand, according to market data. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCE), copper contracts for October delivery increased by Rs 2.60, or 0.45%, to Rs 1,414 per kilogram in a business turnover of 761 lots.
The rise in copper prices was attributed to higher bets by participants, as analysts pointed out that the demand is driving up the price. There were no quotes from any market experts, just a simple statement that this is what happened.
