Copper Rod Operating Rate Drops Amid High Prices and Supply Constraints
Copper rod enterprises in China saw their operating rate decline in September, according to data from SMM. The comprehensive operating rate was 42.37%, down 0.27 percentage points month-over-month and 2.73 percentage points year-over-year.
The industry is facing pressure due to high copper prices combined with a tight supply of recycled brass raw materials, limiting demand for copper rod products.
