U.S. corn futures have hit their highest closing price since July 2023 after results from the Pro Farmer Crop Tour were released on August 24, 2026. The tour projected a smaller U.S. corn crop in 2026 due to lower yield potential across much of the Corn Belt.

The Teucrium Corn Fund ETF (CORN) and other related assets saw significant price movements as a result of this news. According to the Pro Farmer Crop Tour, yields were lower than expected in many areas, which is a concern for corn producers and investors alike.
