Corn Prices Gain on Rising Grains and Oil Amid Rainy Harvest
Corn futures closed higher on Tuesday, following gains in other grains and crude oil. The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price rose by 3 1/4 cents to $4.87.
The US corn market may face some delays due to early harvest progress being slowed down by 1 to 3 inches of rain expected in parts of Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, and the Eastern Corn Belt.
Brazil's CONAB released data showing a 1.04 MMT increase in the country's 2025/26 corn crop estimate, reaching 144 MMT. The agency also predicted an initial estimate for the 2026/27 corn crop at 148 MMT, surpassing the USDA's estimate of 139 MMT.
