Universal Starch Chem Allied Limited warned of potential corn shortages and margin pressure due to inadequate rainfall during its 53rd Annual General Meeting held on September 28, 2026.

The company stated that reduced corn availability could impact production levels and increase raw material costs. Chairman Jitendrasinh J. Rawal highlighted that a drought-like situation in certain regions poses a risk to the supply chain.

The meeting approved re-appointments for directors, including Smt. Nayankuwar J. Rawal as Whole-Time Director, and Mr. Gopalsingh Rajput's designation was changed to Whole-Time Director via special resolution.
