Corn, Soybean Export Sales See Boost Amid Marketing Year Lows

New crop export sales in key commodities such as corn, soybeans, and wheat were solid during the week ending July 30th. This comes after old crop sales for these same products reached marketing year lows. Beef and pork exports also saw increased demand, with net beef sales totaling 19,800 tons, a 31% increase from the previous week.

Corn exports are approaching the end of their current marketing year at 3.429 billion bushels, compared to 2.78 billion late in 2024/25. New crop corn sales for 2026/27 delivery were mainly to unknown destinations and Mexico, totaling 1,026,900 tons (40.4 million bushels).

Wheat exports are currently at 265.2 million bushels for the 2026/27 marketing year, compared to 377.8 million in 2025/26. The Philippines and Mexico were among the top wheat buyers during this week's sales period.
