Costco Hikes Motor Oil Prices Amid Crude Oil Surge

Costco has raised the price of its Kirkland Signature full-synthetic motor oil to $58 per two-pack, up from around $30 last year.

The wholesale club operator is also limiting purchases to two boxes per week. This move comes as crude oil prices continue to rise due to ongoing tension in the Middle East.

The price of a barrel of Brent crude has surpassed $109, while diesel prices in the U.S. have hit a record high of over $6 per gallon on average.
