Crude Oil Price Sees Limited Gains Amid Bearish Trends
The price of crude oil has seen limited and cautious gains in recent trading sessions. However, this recovery is hindered by its continued movement along a short-term corrective descending trend line.
This trend line limits the chances of a full recovery for crude oil in the near term, especially with the negative pressure resulting from it trading below the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA50).
The negative signals from relative strength indicators also contribute to the bearish pressures, as they have reached deeply overbought levels. This increases the likelihood of a decline in the coming period.
