Crude oil prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) futures fell by ₹138 to ₹9,085 per barrel on Monday amid weak global trends. The decline was attributed to participants offloading their holdings due to weak demand in the spot market.

The West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 1.69% lower at $98.60 per barrel, while Brent crude declined 1.59% to $102.22 per barrel in New York.

Globally, the crude oil prices are under pressure due to weak demand and supply chain disruptions.
