Crude Oil Prices Plummet Amid Weak Global Cues and Low Demand
Crude oil futures fell sharply on Monday, dropping by Rs 138 to Rs 9,085 per barrel due to weak global trends and reduced demand in the spot market. The decline was attributed to participants offloading their holdings amid low demand.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude prices also saw a significant drop, falling 1.69% to USD 98.60 per barrel, while Brent crude declined 1.59% to USD 102.22 per barrel in New York.
