The US President has signed into law the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026, which authorises tariffs of up to 100 per cent on major buyers of Russian oil and gas, including India.
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have withdrawn over Rs 20,974 crore from Indian equities in September due to elevated crude oil prices, higher US interest rates, and global uncertainties.
