Crude Price Drop Fuels Indian Stock Market Surge

Indian stock markets surged in early trade on Monday, fueled by lower crude oil prices and easing geopolitical tensions. The Sensex jumped 470.06 points to 78,564.70, while the Nifty climbed 150 points to 24,532.95.

The sharp decline in Brent crude oil prices, which fell below $84 per barrel, was a major catalyst for the market surge. Easing tensions between the US and Iran also boosted investor sentiment.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) turned net buyers, injecting Rs 277.48 crore into equities on Friday. Positive monsoon progress in July further contributed to the optimistic market outlook.
