The global cyclohexane market saw prices rise over the four weeks to September 18, 2026, driven by a firmer upstream benzene market and higher crude oil values.

Crude oil provided the main cost support through this period, with Brent crude climbing from $94 per barrel on September 1, 2026, to a peak near $108 per barrel on September 15, 2026, before easing to about $98 per barrel by September 22, 2026. WTI followed a similar arc, rising from roughly $90 per barrel to a high near $105 per barrel before retreating to about $89 per barrel.

Benzene prices also increased, with the CFR India Asia marker rising from $1.047 per kg on August 21, 2026, to $1.180 per kg on September 18, 2026, a gain of 12.7%. Cyclohexane FOB Rotterdam rose 15.3%, from $0.980 per kg to $1.130 per kg.
