Dairygold Announces 2026 Harvest Grain Prices
Dairygold, a farmer-owned co-operative in Ireland, has announced its harvest grain prices for 2026. The base price for feed barley is €213 per ton, while feed wheat is priced at €223 per ton. With the addition of the co-op bonus of €5 per ton, these prices increase to €218 per ton for feed barley and €228 per ton for feed wheat.
The malting barley price announced by Dairygold is €228 per ton, including the bonus. Growers who locked into a minimum feed beans price in the spring will receive €255 per ton, while those without such contracts will be paid €230 per ton. Oilseed rape growers will receive €510 per ton.
Dairygold's general manager, Liam O'Flaherty, acknowledged the challenges facing the tillage sector and emphasized the co-op's commitment to supporting its growers through various initiatives, including grain contracts, agronomy technical services, and regular payments throughout harvest.
