Dana Gas Restarts Khor Mor Production After Receiving Security Assurances

Dana Gas has announced plans to gradually restore production at its Khor Mor gas field in Iraq's Kurdistan Region, citing improved security assurances.

The company aims to reach maximum capacity by Tuesday, according to Shakir Wajid Shakir, Dana Gas' Iraq Country Manager. The Khor Mor field produces natural gas, condensates, and other related products.

Dana Gas emphasized that the primary goal of increasing production is to ensure a stable supply of natural gas for power generation plants in the Kurdistan Region and federal Iraq.
