Dangote Refinery Rejects 15.5 Million Barrels of Crude Oil
The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has reported that Dangote Petroleum Refinery rejected about 15.5 million barrels of crude oil offered to it in the second quarter of 2026.
This information was contained in the NUPRC's Q2 2026 report on the enforcement of the Domestic Crude Supply Obligation, released on Monday.
The report showed that producers offered 68.1 million barrels of crude to the refinery during the three-month period, but the facility accepted only 52.6 million barrels, representing 78% of the volume offered.
NUPRC said that the refinery had required 63 million barrels during the quarter, but producers offered a higher volume.
