Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi inaugurated the PNG (Piped Natural Gas) service in Darbhanga town on Thursday, marking a major step forward for the town under the Centre's Urja Ganga Yojana.

The scheme aims to provide households with a continuous supply of natural gas through pipelines, reducing dependence on LPG cylinders. Saraogi described the launch as a significant convenience for residents, eliminating the need for frequent cylinder replacement and making cooking more convenient.

He also emphasized that the expansion of PNG infrastructure will boost Darbhanga's development and improve access to cleaner fuel. During the programme, Saraogi interacted with consumers who have been connected to the PNG network and sought feedback on the quality of supply and service delivery.
