The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Delhi has increased by Rs 3.89 per kg, effective from Saturday morning at 6 am.

This revision takes the CNG price in Delhi to Rs 86.98 per kg, up from Rs 83.09 per kg previously.

The increase is attributed to rising input gas costs, with a significant portion of the gas used to supply CNG sourced from imported liquefied natural gas (LNG).

According to Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), international LNG prices have risen due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, leading to higher costs for gas supplied to the company.
