Delhi Gold Surges Past ₹1.65 Lakh as Silver Falters
Gold prices in Delhi surged by ₹2,700 to reach ₹1.67 lakh per 10 grams on Tuesday, marking its fourth consecutive rise. The precious metal continued its strong domestic momentum, despite international gold surrendering part of its recent advance.
The yellow metal, carrying 99.9% purity, had settled at ₹1.64 lakh per 10 grams in the previous session. This latest increase represents a gain of about 1.64% over Monday's closing value.
On the other hand, silver prices declined by ₹3,500, or around 1.38%, to reach ₹2.50 lakh per kilogram, inclusive of all taxes. Despite Tuesday's correction, silver retained the important ₹2.50-lakh level after its run of gains.
