USDA Grain Bids Show Little Change in Wheat and Corn Prices

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its daily state grain bids for August 25, 2026. The report covers Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana and Texas Gulf, Portland, Indiana, and Ohio.

In Kansas, ordinary protein wheat bids at West locations ranged from -75 to -60 cents per bushel, unchanged, with prices between $6.7550 and $6.9050 per bushel. This is down 5.75 cents compared to the year-ago price of $4.1400.

In the South region, ordinary protein wheat basis was -28 cents, unchanged, with a price of $7.2250. The year-ago average price was $4.6675.
