Dera Ismail Khan Flour Dealers Suspended for Violating Wheat Release SOPs

The Food Department in Dera Ismail Khan has intensified monitoring of government wheat flour supply and prices of essential food commodities in the district.

Action was taken against 10 government flour dealers by suspending their official flour quotas and licences over reported violations.

The suspension was initiated on the basis of field monitoring and a report submitted by the focal person for government flour dealers, District Food Controller Muhammad Azam Khan ordered immediate action.

The department is distributing government wheat flour to consumers across Dera Ismail Khan through authorised dealers at the notified price of Rs2,520 for a 20-kilogram bag.
