Natural gas forwards experienced a broad sell-off during the July 22-29 trading period, with one notable exception - the Desert Southwest.

According to recent data, the region's high demand due to record desert temperatures kept buyers on their toes, bucking the national trend of declining prices.

The Permian Basin saw a rebound in its rally, while New England winter prices continued to slide. The West Coast markets, including El Paso Permian and Henry Hub, also experienced significant price drops during this period.
