Vietnam has adjusted its oil supply chain in response to the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East. Prior to the US-Iran conflict on February 28, the country primarily imported crude from Kuwait.

To mitigate the risks associated with a disrupted supply, Vietnam has diversified its imports and increased domestic production. This strategic shift enables the country to reduce its reliance on a single source of oil.
