DLP's PEA Validates Aurora as Large-Scale Copper-Molybdenum Asset with Multi-Phase Expansion Potential
DLP Resources Inc., an OTCQB-listed company, has released its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Aurora Copper-Molybdenum-Silver Project in Peru. The study establishes a large-scale, long-life copper-molybdenum asset with significant multi-phase expansion potential.
The PEA indicates an after-tax net present value of $2.703 million and an internal rate of return of 18.5% at base case commodity prices. However, using current spot prices, the after-tax NPV8% rises to $4.812 million with an IRR of 24.9%. The payback period decreases to 3.8 years from 5.2 years.
The project's mineral resource estimate includes an Indicated resource of 614.84 Mt grading 0.19% Cu, 0.06% Mo, and 2.09 g/t Ag, and an Inferred resource of 1,118.80 Mt at 0.18% Cu, 0.07% Mo, and 1.95 g/t Ag.
The PEA represents the first chapter of the Aurora story, with a mine life of 17.5 years, processing 402.9 million tonnes of mineralized material. The Company views this as an initial Phase 1, providing a foundation for a long-term, multi-decade mining district.
