Stifel Sees Huge Upside Potential in ACG Metals' Turkish Mine
ACG Metals Ltd (LSE: ACG, OTC: ACGAF) has reached an important milestone as its Gediktepe mine in Türkiye delivered its first copper concentrate. Analysts at Stifel believe that this is only the beginning for the mine, with significant upside potential yet to be unlocked.
The Enriched Ore Project at the Gediktepe mine is expected to be completed by the end of this year and is already factored into Stifel's base case. Analysts Alex Bedwany and Mavis Liu see exploration as a way to extend the life of the mine beyond its initial production.
The timing of the concentrate arrival is particularly opportune, as it coincides with a tightening market for copper. With spot prices at around $6.48 per pound, Stifel believes that the mine's ramp-up will substantially reduce risks associated with the project.
