Doerkson Promises to Turbocharge B.C.'s Economy with LNG Production

B.C. Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson has unveiled his party's plan to boost the provincial economy by increasing liquefied natural gas (LNG) production.

Doerkson pledged to double LNG production by 2032 and triple it by 2035, calling it B.C.'s 'superpower plan.'

The NDP has dismissed this promise as a 'ChatGPT plan,' saying that their current plans would exceed Doerkson's targets.

Doerkson's plan relies heavily on the LNG sector to drive growth and fill provincial coffers, but NDP Leader David Eby countered by arguing that his party's approach would avoid getting bogged down in bureaucracy.
