Domestic Gold Prices Rise, But Buyers Still Feel Pinch
The SJC gold bar prices saw an increase of 1.6 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to last week's closing session. Despite this, investors who bought at the lower price range on September 13 and sold today still suffered a loss of 1.4 million VND/tael.
The reason for this loss lies in the significant difference between the buying and selling prices set by businesses, resulting in buyers bearing an additional 3 million VND/tael immediately upon trading.
On the 9999 gold ring market, prices also increased, but short-term buyers still faced losses due to high buy-sell spreads. DOJI Group listed gold ring prices at 144-148 million VND/tael, an increase of 1 million VND/tael in both directions compared to a week ago.
The buying - selling difference here was up to 4 million VND/tael, causing gold ring buyers at DOJI in the session on September 13 and selling in today's session to suffer a loss of about 3 million VND/tael.
