Door County's tourism industry is optimistic about this fall season despite rising gas prices. The current national average is $4.42, but Destination Door County says they don't expect a decrease in tourism to the peninsula. DENN co-owner Milissa Kloida attributes this to tourists planning their trips well in advance. 'We try to always project what our guest count will be each week,' she said.

Kloida also notes that prices for pumpkins and admission into the corn maze at DENN will remain the same. The store keeps its prices affordable for locals and visitors alike, making it an attractive option for families looking for a budget-friendly outing. Kloida added, 'People can see that they can have a more affordable family outing if they come here.'

Lautenbach's Orchard Country in Fish Creek also reports no decrease in visitors or sales so far this season. The fall season wraps up on October 31st.
