France and Saudi Arabia have joined forces to develop a massive theme park based on the Japanese manga franchise Dragon Ball Z, with a price tag of six billion euros. The project will be built near Paris, northwest of the city, and is expected to create approximately 22,000 jobs once completed.

The idea for the theme park originated from a shared passion between French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for Dragon Ball Z, which they revealed during Macron's visit to Saudi Arabia in 2025. The project will be financed by Saudi entertainment and investment group Qiddiya, aiming to diversify the kingdom's economy beyond oil.

The site chosen for the theme park is the former location of Mirapolis, a fairy tale-themed park that closed four years after its opening in 1987 due to low attendance. The construction process will take several years, and an official opening date has not been announced yet.
