Drone Attack Hits Russia's Largest Oil Refinery

A drone attack has struck one of Russia's largest oil refineries in the Samara Region. The Kuibyshev Oil Refinery, located in Samara and part of Rosneft's Samara Group of Companies, reported a fire on its grounds following the strike.

The refinery is one of the largest in the Volga region, with a design capacity of approximately 7 million metric tons of crude oil per year. It produces around 30 types of products, including automotive gasoline and diesel fuel.

This attack follows previous incidents where Ukrainian drones targeted Moscow's oil refineries. On September 20, one such strike hit the Gazpromneft-MNPZ Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district, causing a massive fire to break out.
