Drone Strike Hits Cargo Ship in Black Sea, Three Crew Members Injured

A drone attack on a cargo ship in the Black Sea near Russia's Novorossiysk port has left three crew members seriously injured, according to reports.

The ship, named Nadezhda, was traveling from Russia to Turkey when it was struck by a drone about 20 miles away from the Russian coast. The attack set the ship ablaze and a fire is still burning at its front.

All 22 crew members on board, including the three injured sailors, were taken off the ship and brought to safety in Russia. The nationality of the injured sailors has not been released, but officials have confirmed that they are receiving medical treatment.

The attack is just one incident in a series of drone strikes on ships in the Black Sea, with both Russia and Ukraine accusing each other of targeting vessels carrying agricultural goods and military gear. The conflict has disrupted grain exports through the Black Sea, with Russia's main grain exporters' union warning that Ukrainian drone strikes could soon halt shipments altogether.
