Saudi Arabia reported intercepting drones targeting petroleum facilities in its eastern province and others in Riyadh on Monday, blaming Iran-backed militias in Iraq for launching the attacks. The country reserves the right to respond.

In a separate incident, Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed responsibility for attacking Saudi Arabia's main Red Sea oil port of Yanbu, citing retaliation for alleged Saudi drone incursions into Yemeni airspace.

Jordan shot down two drones while Iraqi security sources reported a series of drone attacks on camps housing Kurdish forces in northern Iraq. There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage.
